Waiting on Wednesday (5)

July 31, 2013 waiting on wednesday 18

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming books that we are eagerly waiting to read.

This Week:

Fault Line by Christa Desir

Release Date: October 1, 2013
Publisher: SimonPulse

Ben could date anyone he wants, but he only has eyes for the new girl — sarcastic free-spirit, Ani. Luckily for Ben, Ani wants him too. She’s everything Ben could ever imagine. Everything he could ever want.

But that all changes after the party. The one Ben misses. The one Ani goes to alone.

Now Ani isn’t the girl she used to be, and Ben can’t sort out the truth from the lies. What really happened, and who is to blame?

Ben wants to help her, but she refuses to be helped. The more she pushes Ben away, the more he wonders if there’s anything he can do to save the girl he loves.

Why I’m Waiting:

First of all, anybody know what the cover image is? I have no idea but it’s really cool looking! I’m dying to know what happened to Ani. The summary is so vague and it’s killing me not to know. And I’m already rooting for Ben to “save” her, from whatever it is she needs to be saved from. Summaries like this drive me crazy–I want to know more!

What are you waiting for? Tell me in a comment or leave a link to your post! 🙂

Also, there are a bunch of awesome giveaways going on. Check the sidebar for the links!

It’s a lighter. If you look closely you can see the metal at the top and the lever on the side (and it’s, you know, creating fire-lol). This does sound really interesting. I have a pretty good idea what happened at the party–although I could be wrong. I am curious about this one, too. Great pick!

Ohhh. You’re right! I didn’t even notice that. Now I feel dumb ha! I guess I’ve never looked at someone striking one so closely before. What an cool macro action shot! I have a hunch, too, but you never know. I’m hoping it’s one of those books that completely surprise me.

Haha I still can’t believe I didn’t figure it out. Thanks for letting me know, anyway 🙂 Whoever designed the cover did a phenomenal job. I love action shots like this. It lets you see how things truly look in slow motion. I hope you like it if you get soon!!
