Sunday Sit-down (10-5-14)

Sunday Sit-down

Sunday Sit-down is a new feature I’m going to try my very best to keep up with. Each Sunday I’ll make a little post updating you on anything interesting that happened to me in the last week outside of the book blogging world, things I’ve gotten in the mail, things that have posted on The Bookish Daydreamer in the last week, and possible things that may go up the next week. This is inspired by Natalie at Natflix & Book’s Weekly Rewind posts. I figure this a great way for you guys to see everything you might have missed over the last week and will be like a Stacking the Shelves thing too! I’d love to hear what’s been going on in your week and if you have a post kind of like this, be sure to send me the link so I can visit!

So this past week was pretty awesome, if I may say so. I got some FANTASTIC bookmail over the course of three days, all titles I’ve been highly anticipating and can’t wait to start!! Thank you so so much to Simon & Schuster, Random House, and Bloomsbury!

To continue with my good week Transformers 4: Age of Extinction came out on DVD! And while I was out shopping for that I FINALLY found Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer. If you follow me on twitter you know that I have been in search of that stuff since the beginning of September. My town is finally catching up.

The next day I did something drastic to my hair. AND I LOVE IT! I had been contemplating doing this for over a year or two but didn’t want just anybody to do it; I wanted to make sure I found a hairstylist who was familiar, comfortable, and skilled at doing bright colors. I think I found the perfect person! Here is my before and after!

I feel like a mermaid now 😉 Looking at this picture makes me cringe at how BORING and BLAH my hair was before. Good grief.

That same night I went to a One Direction concert with my younger sister and my mom. It was so much fun! I wrote a whole blog post about it so you can relive some of my favorite moments.

And that brings me to my next part of this post, posts that have appeared here on The Bookish Daydreamer over the last week. Here’s a nifty little list of everything I’ve posted, all in one convenient place!

So that about sums up my week, everyone! How was your week? Anything interesting happen in real life or on your blog? I’d love to hear about it! (I want to make this post interactive, I don’t feel like I talk with you guys often enough and since I’m so uncreative when it comes to discussion posts, I feel like this will just have to do 🙂 )

Thank you!! I was so nervous it wouldn’t turn out like I had envisioned. Now I’m worried it’s going to fade/wash out too soon!

I know I told you this before but I super love your hair!!! I want to do something fun with my hair! I’m having a crisis since I’m turning 29 next week so I started making a 30 before 30 list and “do something fun with my hair” is on there!! Also, on there, go to a big concert!! I’ve been to lots of concerts before and a few big ones but I want to go to a ONe Direction or a Taylor Swift or Beyonce. Something CRAZY big. Glad you had such a good time!!
