Stacking the Shelves (25)

November 30, 2013 stacking the shelves 18

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. This give bloggers a chance to showcase what they have received in the mail, bought, received for review, won in a giveaway, etc.

This week my family and I went down to the beach for a relaxing Thanksgiving. I’ve gotten so much reading done, it’s been glorious! I’ve finished three books so far. Thanksgiving Day was stressful, as usual, and I was the anti-social one to avoid all the drama. I holed up in my room, shopped for Christmas presents, and read. After we ate dinner, everything calmed down a bit and I got to enjoy spending time with my parents and sisters. It wasn’t my idea to come down to the beach at the end of November but it’s been nice to get away. It’s freezing here so I haven’t spent much time on the beach. We do have a beachfront house, though, so I’ve been enjoying some rays on the porch with a giant comfy blanket and hot chocolate.

How was your Thanksgiving, my American friends? Hope you’re enjoying your holiday and got lots of great reading done! 🙂

Oh GOSH! This is an amazing stack! (I’m so jealous… 😉 I just heard about Why We Took The Car. I reeeeally want to know if that’s a good one. And Side Effects May Vary sounds really unique. I want to read reviews on all of these! Aahhhhh!!!!!!

If I haven’t started that book by next week, remind me to get to it! I thought it sounded really good, fingers crossed it is 🙂 I’m starting SEMV this week. I’m not really sure what Harper’s policy on ARC reviews is, so that review may not be up for awhile. But I’ll tell you on twitter 🙂

ahh, it made you cry that much?! Well that pretty much guarantees that I’ll be doing the same. I love a book that makes me cry. I’ll have to save it for a day when I’m prepared to bawl. I need to read MIND GAMES as well. We’ll have to read it around the same time and share thoughts 🙂

It’s up on Edelweiss, I believe! You should go request it! 🙂 Is MIND GAMES good? I still haven’t read that one yet. Hope you had a great weekend!
