Stacking The Shelves (17)

August 31, 2013 stacking the shelves 10

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. This give bloggers a chance to showcase what they have received in the mail, bought, received for review, won in a giveaway, etc.

I have a pretty big haul this week! I somehow seemed to have forgotten my NetGalley ban I put myself on, whoops. The titles I got this week were just way too good to pass up on!

As always, click the cover image for the Goodreads page!

Yes everyone, I FINALLY went out and bought THE 5TH WAVE. It’s only taken me months and months of viewing other’s reviews about it to buy it. I honest have no reason for waiting this long. I’ve wanted it since before it was even published!

I’ve heard lots of things lately about MISS PEREGRINE’S and it definitely caught my attention. I follow Tahereh Mafi on twitter (who doesn’t?!) and knew who Ransom was, but I never looked up his book. This came out in 2011 but lately it seems like people are rediscovering it. I wanted to try it out myself!
PS-Who does not ship Tahereh and Ransom?? Anybody? Yeah, I didn’t think so. LOVE them!

What did you get this week? Let me know or leave a link to your post! Happy weekend everyone 🙂

Dead Girls looks awesome. I can’t wait to read it. Lockwood and Co looks really good, too, but I decided to hold off on requesting and just snag it from my library once it gets released. I still need to read the 5th Wave, too. I’ve had a copy on my Kindle for months, but just haven’t gotten to it yet. Great haul this week! I hope you love all your new additions!

I really hope it’s good, especially after that last murder mystery slump. Even though THE SCREAMING STAIRCASE is MG, I just couldn’t resist. I was going to wait but I have this horrible problem with requesting everything pretty on NetGalley/Edelweiss, sooo.

Apparently it’s going to be the next big MG book. I hope it’s good! I’m not really into that genre anymore but it just sounds like something I would really enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!

Dead Girls Don’t Lie sounds quite intriguing, I’ll definitely look out for this one in the future!

Oooooh I enjoyed The 5th Wave. I found it to be an entertaining YA alien invasion story and OMG Evan gave me ALL the feels haha

Hope you enjoy all your books! 🙂
