It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (2)

October 2, 2017 What are You Reading? 6

Hey guys! Happy Monday! I’ve decided to start participating in a new fun weekly meme called “It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?” It’s hosted by Kathryn at the Book Date and is a great way to show off what books you’re currently reading. I thought I’d participate because as you know, I’m not the best at coming up with original discussion posts or anything like that but I love talking about what I’m reading! So here we go!

I’m just about finished with this one! I’m really behind on my reading these last couple of weeks. My sister got married, I’ve traveled, and I got sick with a horrible chest cold so I’ve barely picked this up. It’s a shame because this is my favorite series ever and this book is freaking amazing. It’s so different than the other 4 but that’s because it has to be. Everything has built up to this book and even though it’s not your typical Lockwood & Co. go and solve mysterious ghost problems, it’s perfect. If something happens to my beloved crew I will cry and throw the book and then pick it back up and read it all over again. If you haven’t read this series, I implore you to! It’s fantastic my friends.

*Coming Up Next*

This was my Waiting on Wednesday pick last week and I’m excited to start it! I’ve loved basically everything else DeStefano has written and I have a feeling The Glass Spare will be no different. The worlds she creates are magical, ethereal, and imaginative. I really have no idea how she comes up with the stories she writes but I’m here for every single one of them!

The Glass Spare is about a banished princess who discovers she can turn people into gemstone. She runs into a cursed prince who wants to use her powers for who knows what. I’m excited to be immersed into a new world created by DeStefano!

I just finished reading Plastic: A Toxic Love Story and I’m trying to decide what to read next. I’ve really been enjoying reading non-fiction lately but I have quite a few older novels on my library wish list like the rest of the Four Series and Water for Elephants!

Both look good, but the Lockwood series is one I’ve seen good reviews for before. Glad it’s such an awesome series!!
