In My Mailbox (2)

March 31, 2013 In My Mailbox 11

In My Mailbox is a hosted by The Story Siren
I was planning on doing one big IMM post with a giant list of things I’ve gotten but for some reason, half of the books I know I should be getting in the mail soon have not yet arrived. I’ve won a couple of giveaways and have a book that I got from ARCycling that haven’t yet made their appearance in my box. I really hope they aren’t lost :/  But anyway, I do have two books that came in this week that I’m excited to share with you guys!
The first book I bought. I was super excited when it got here because IT’S SIGNED!!
Fever by Lauren DeStefano
This is the second book in The Chemical Garden Trilogy. I loved WITHER (check out my review!) and can’t wait to see what happens to Rhine. If you haven’t read WITHER yet, do it!

Next up IMM: an ebook ARC I was approved for on Edelweiss! It sounds like a great paranormal book. Be on the look out for my review of this coming soon!

Publisher: Chronicle Books
“Forever is a long time to be stuck in high school.
Seventeen-year-old Paige is dead, the victim of a freak fall from
the roof during Physics class. Now she’s a ghost, permanently
bound to the grounds of her high school. It isn’t all bad, she can
find out everyone’s secrets, which can be amusing—for a while.
But then Paige hears something that isn’t amusing at all: the
rumor spread by the most popular girl at school that her death
wasn’t an accident—that she supposedly jumped on purpose.
Paige is desperate to stop the gossip, but what can a ghost do?
Then Paige discovers something amazing. She can possess
living people when they think of her, and she can make them do
almost anything. Maybe, just maybe, she can get inside the girl who’s responsible for the stories. . . and have a little fun turning the tables while she’s at it.”

New follower. Just be patient. I’m sure the books are going to arrive probably around the same time. I have had it happened to me, then all the books came in the same week. Nice haul of books. Come check out my haul as well.

Congratulations on getting a signed copy of Fever, it’s such a beautiful looking book, inside and outside covers. I haven’t got to this series yet, ( I hear their great) but keep wanting to get the dang books for the covers. LOL. Enjoy your books.

All three have gorgeous covers! I love how the theme on the outside continues on the inside pages as well. The designer did a fantastic job. I was instantly drawn to the series simply because of the cover too haha. I highly suggest reading them, they really great!

I pretty much jumped up and down haha! It was such a good book. I wasn’t really sure if I would like it based off the summary but I’m so glad I gave it a chance! Thanks for stopping by!

I really want to go to some meet and greets but authors never come to my area. When they come close, it’s in the middle of the week. Once I graduate I’ll have more time! Thank you, I hope you do too 🙂

That is so cool! I wish I got tons of books in the mail, that’d be fun. I hope they’re not lost, I’m sure you’ll get them soon.

It’s going to be nice to read something in physical form! My eyes are so burnt out from ebooks haha. One of them finally came today. One of the giveaways I won was over 20 days ago. I think it’s safe to say it’s lost out there somewhere. Hopefully UPS eventually realizes it didn’t get to me and will send it on over.

Sometimes they take time, did they email you telling them they were sending it already? I know, I chose two books for this month that I have in paperback.
